Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to perform Master Systems Integration of building management systems, develop control databases, and build user interfaces per project specs. The role includes on-site and remote support, system startup, commissioning, and remote software installation for global enterprise clients.

The position involves programming control applications, validating operation to design docs, and coordinating with installers to ensure successful system deployment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HVAC, electrical, mechanical or software engineering; 5–8 years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with judgment to apply precedents.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Create complex programming using flow diagrams and panel layouts.
Program control applications and perform site commissioning and testing.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
Document resolutions and report findings to the project team.
Coordinate system installation with contractors and ensure design compliance.
Coach others and support software tools management.
Travel up to 50% annually with overnight trips as needed.
