Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own build and CI workflows across our large monorepos. You will drive Bazel configuration, toolchain development, and Buildkite orchestration to keep pipelines fast and reliable at scale.

You will mentor teammates, lead platform improvements, and partner with multiple engineering teams to deliver dependable, diagnosable infrastructure that accelerates development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including developer infrastructure or CI platforms.
• Proficient in at least one major language (Go/Java/Kotlin/Python) and debugging/architecture skills.
• Experience with large-scale build systems and distributed execution is highlypreferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve build and CI workflows forDoorDash's scale on large monorepos.
• Develop Bazel rules, toolchains, and integrations to keep builds reproducible.
• Improve Buildkite throughput and reliability, reduce queue times and bottlenecks.
• Mentor teammates, design platform improvements, and drive rollout across teams.
