Job summary

Koniag Government Services seeks a Senior Budget and Cost Analyst to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in Fort Meade, MD. The role requires a CURRENT/ACTIVE TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for SCI access and 10+ years of DoD financial planning and analysis experience.

You will analyze budgets, support PPBE processes, prepare budget demonstrations, and collaborate with managers to optimize funding and execution. On-site 5 days a week.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of DoD financial planning and analysis experience.
• 5+ years in a Program/Budget Execution office.
• Extensive knowledge of the DoD planning, programming, budgeting, and execution process.
• Experience analyzing financial data related to operations, business performance, opportunities, and investments.
• Experience preparing spend plans, budget exhibits, and financial execution metrics reporting.
• Experience preparing funds briefings, planning requirements, budget reviews and congressional submissions.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes financial data related to operations, performance, opportunities, and investments.
• Supports PPBE process by preparing POM submissions and aligning to agency strategy.
• Conducts budget artifact analyses (Advana/Qlik Sense Hub, budget baselines, etc.).
• Identifies and proposes funding solutions for the portfolio.
• Reviews funding requests and provides recommendations to Government.
• Collaborates with project managers to develop budgets and manage execution.
• Performs cost-benefit analyses to determine value.
• Monitors spend plans, budget exhibits, and financial execution metrics.
• Prepares funds briefings and congressional submissions on behalf of Government customers.
• Maintains MIPRs and tracks funding moves for the organization.
