Job summary

Prominent Global Solutions is seeking a budget analyst to support DoD program funding at Fort Meade. The role involves full life cycle funds execution, obligation and reconciliation, and reporting for Status of Funds and portfolio reviews.

The candidate will prepare budget requests, support RFIs, and attend briefings, ensuring alignment with policy and prior year execution. Strong Excel, Power BI, and DTS/DAI experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a financial or business discipline or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and PowerPoint; Power BI a plus.
• Experience with DoD Appropriations and budget documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage full life cycle funds execution and funding document preparation (DAI).
• Prepare requests for acceptance, MIPR acknowledgements, and obligation/ULO reconciliation.
• Produce reports using Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint for SOF and Portfolio Reviews.
• Attend budget briefings and RFIs supporting discretionary and mandatory budget requests.
• Plan, analyze, and execute multi-year budgets; justify expenditures and resource requirements.
• Recommend reprogramming or realignment of funds to support execution.
