Job summary

Koniag Government Services seeks a Budget Analyst (Mid) with a TS/SCI clearance to support the AI2 office at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. You will manage portfolio-based financial oversight, develop cost estimates, and provide guidance to senior government personnel on budget execution.

The role requires experience with DoD policies, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs and budgeting.
• Knowledge of federal acquisition policies, regulations, and guidelines.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze federal acquisition policies and guidelines for data, C2, AI acquisitions.
• Interpret policies to inform procurement strategies and contracts.
• Identify tradeoffs across programs and present resource alternatives to executives.
• Review program costs for government personnel.
• Evaluate portfolio budget execution and resource alignment.
• Draft Joint Acquisition Program Objective Memorandum (POM) for government review.
• Support CAPE with information requests and cost estimates.
• Track budget changes and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit acquisition cost reports and documentation.
• Assist team members to achieve mission.
• Identify contract risks and recommend corrective actions.
