Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital is seeking a Senior Analyst to perform specialized analytical duties in the Budget, Financial Planning & Analysis Office using SUNY BI, Tableau, OBIEE, and Excel/Access. This role provides crucial decision support for university leadership and budgeting across the campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Three years of full-time, professional financial analysis experience.
• Experience gathering, analyzing and summarizing complex data.
• Familiarity with Access and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Organize, analyze, and compile financial data to create reports and dashboards.
• Develop and maintain financial reports for campus leadership.
• Partner with programmers to design forecasting and planning tools.
• Reconcile campus Central Funds and manage out-year liability.
• Create ad-hoc modeling reports for campus initiatives.
• Provide support for Financial Planning and Central Funds systems.
