Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) in Austin is seeking a Budget Analyst to join the UI Administration & Operational Support department. This in-office role requires expertise in budget preparation, analysis, and reporting, with substantial responsibility for expenditures and performance measures.

The Budget Analyst V will guide senior management on budgeting policies, coordinate strategic planning, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial documents.

Qualifications

• Five years of full-time experience in budget preparation, accounting, auditing, financial planning or management, or similar roles in public sector settings.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred and may be substituted for experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating budgetary activities.
• Oversee development of budgetary performance and workload measures.
• Prepare budgetary and management reports and financial statements.
