Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree in accounting, finance, business or public administration; related experience may substitute for education.
• 3–4 years budget preparation or financial analysis experience.
• 3–4 years creating advanced MS Excel spreadsheets with formulas and pivot tables.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate operating budgets and budget schedules.
• Prepare budget transfers reflecting operational adjustments approved by management.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Anaplan to provide budget status and forecasts.
• Draft and update agency budget policies and procedures.
• Provide data analysis and recommendations for alternative budget solutions.
• Review budget reports for accuracy and advise divisions to stay within budget.
• Ensure proper allocation of expenditures to funding sources and respond to inquiries.
• Develop and maintain complex MS Excel spreadsheets and disseminate reports to internal customers.
