Job summary

Assertive Professionals is seeking a Senior Budget Analyst to support our DoD/DoW customer in Quantico, VA. The role requires an active Secret Clearance, 10 years of relevant experience, and a bachelor’s degree (or 8+ years equivalent) in finance, accounting or business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting.
• Active Secret Clearance and DoD/DoW policy knowledge.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS and government financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Support DoD budget and financial management activities.
• Develop spend plans, forecasting, and budget formulation.
• Prepare financial reports, metrics, and data visualizations.
• Assist with year-end closeout and GAO/DCAA-style reviews.
