Job summary

Alexandria Insights, Inc. is seeking a Budget/Financial Analyst / Financial Management Specialist to provide financial management support for DoD acquisition and program management offices.

The role focuses on developing spend plans, POM submissions, and auditable records to ensure compliant financial execution across the program lifecycle. Responsibilities include creating financial tracking documents, supporting CACFs for capital assets, and coordinating with stakeholders to document funding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related discipline.
• 5–10 years of related finance or business analysis experience.
• Eligible for secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of spend plans, budget exhibits, financial action requests, and below threshold realignments.
• Assist with POM development, ensuring accuracy and alignment with program requirements.
• Create and maintain financial tracking documents with accurate and timely updates.
• Support updates to Capital Asset Cost Forms (CACFs) for capital asset military equipment.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to document contract and reimbursable funding, equipment exchanges and transfers, capital improvements, delivered assets, and other financial data.
• Maintain auditable financial records and assist with audit responses.
• Monitor and report on financial execution performance against benchmarks.
• Liaise with customers to capture and address financial requirements.
• Demonstrate proficiency in standard financial software and reporting tools.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of financial products.
