Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Brownfield Project Manager for the Great Lakes region, focusing on due diligence, restoration, and brownfield redevelopment across the Midwest. The role emphasizes managing state and federal funded projects, strong communication, and project leadership.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in environmental due diligence and remediation, knowledge of Great Lakes regulations, and licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and managing State and Federal funded projects.
• Strong writing and communication skills are required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in geology, environmental science, engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental due diligence, assessment, cleanup, and brownfield redevelopment projects with attention to safety, quality, detail, budget, and deadlines.
• Oversee Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, sampling and project guidance.
• Prepare proposals and marketing materials.
• Assist with grant applications to fund environmental projects.
• Schedule field investigations and write technical work plans and health and safety plans.
• Field support including health and safety planning and work planning.
• Coordinate with laboratories and oversee environmental cleanup activities.
