Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced Brownfield Project Manager to join our Great Lakes environmental services team. The role focuses on due diligence, brownfield redevelopment, and project management across the Midwest with emphasis on regulatory compliance and grant-funded initiatives.

The candidate will lead Phase I/II ESAs, coordinate field activities, prepare proposals, and support grant applications while maintaining safety, budget, and timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience administering and managing funded projects.
• Strong writing and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations.
• Self-starting, team-oriented problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental due diligence, assessment, cleanup, and brownfield projects.
• Oversee Phase I/II ESAs and sampling with guidance on scope and schedule.
• Prepare proposals and marketing materials.
• Assist with grant applications for environmental projects.
• Schedule field investigations.
• Write and review technical work plans and health and safety plans.
• Field support: planning, health and safety, sampling, and coordinating with labs.
