Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in environmental due diligence, assessment, remediation, and project management in at least one Great Lakes state.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in geology, environmental science, engineering or related field.
• Experience managing federal or state funded brownfield/redevelopment projects in at least one Great Lakes state and licensure is strongly desired.
• Professional licensure (PG and/or PE) is strongly preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills are critical for deliverables and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental due diligence, assessment, cleanup, and brownfield redevelopment projects with attention to safety, quality, detail, budget, and deadlines.
• Oversee Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, asbestos and lead-based paint sampling, and senior review of deliverables.
• Prepare proposals and other marketing materials.
• Assist with preparing grant applications to fund environmental projects.
• Scoping and scheduling field investigations; health and safety planning.
