Stantec, a multidisciplinary design and engineering firm, seeks an experienced Brownfield Project Manager to lead due diligence, assessment, and redevelopment efforts across the Midwest. The role emphasizes environmental regulation knowledge and grant-funded project execution.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in environmental PM, strong writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of environmental due diligence, assessment, remediation, and PM in a Great Lakes state.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in geology or environmental sciences.
• Experience with federal or state funded brownfield projects; licensure (PG/PE) desired.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental due diligence, assessment, cleanup, and brownfield redevelopment projects with safety, quality, and budget in mind.
• Oversee Phase I and II ESAs, asbestos and lead-based paint sampling; provide guidance on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare proposals and marketing materials; assist with grant applications.
• Scoping and scheduling field investigations; write and review work plans, reports, and HSE plans.
• Field support: work planning, scheduling, HSE planning; manage field staff and contractors.
• Environmental sampling of soil, groundwater, soil gas, and indoor air; coordinate with labs.
