Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Brownfield Project Manager in the Great Lakes region to lead environmental due diligence, assessment, and redevelopment projects focusing on communities in the Midwest. The role requires 10+ years in environmental projects and strong writing, with supervision of field work and grant applications.

You will work across phases, managing budgets, schedules, and deliverables while coordinating with staff and clients to ensure compliance and successful brownfield revitalization

Qualifications

• 10+ years of environmental due diligence, assessment, remediation, and project management in the Great Lakes region.
• Strong writing and communication skills with attention to accuracy and clarity.
• Experience managing state and federal funded brownfield/redevelopment projects and regulatory familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental due diligence, assessment, cleanup, and brownfield redevelopment projects with safety, quality, and budget control.
• Oversee Phase I/II ESAs, sampling projects, and senior review of deliverables.
• Prepare proposals and grant applications to fund environmental projects.
• Coordinate scoping and scheduling of field investigations and health and safety plans.
• Prepare and review technical work plans, reports, and health and safety plans.
• Supervise field contractors and coordinate with laboratories.
