Job summary

FOX Television Stations seeks a skilled Broadcast Maintenance Engineer to keep our 24/7 broadcast operation running smoothly. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair Master Control, Production Control Rooms, studio equipment, camera systems, and remote ENG gear.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in TV engineering, strong IT background with Virtual Machines, and familiarity with Grass Valley ITX, Sony switchers/ELC, Ross Robotics, and Bit Central Playout.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in TV Engineering with a strong IT background and knowledge of Virtual Machine Environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or IT is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular preventative maintenance and repairs on broadcast equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted broadcast operations.
• Maintain and repair systems such as Automated Master Control, Production Control Rooms, Studio Production equipment, and more.
• Assist in the design, construction, and commissioning of new technologies at the Studio, Transmitter, and Remote Facilities.
• Collaborate with team members to support operational needs and enhance system performance.
• Familiarity with Grass Valley ITX, Sony switchers and ELC, Ross Robotics, Bit Central Playout is beneficial.
