Job summary

Fox Television Stations in Philadelphia is seeking a skilled Broadcast Maintenance Engineer to ensure seamless 24/7/365 television broadcast operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair equipment across Master Control, Production Control Rooms, studio gear, cameras, robotics, ENG, and playout systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in TV Engineering with strong IT background.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or IT preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular preventative maintenance and repairs on broadcast equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted broadcast operations.
• Maintain and repair systems such as Automated Master Control, Production Control Rooms, Studio Production equipment, and more.
• Assist in the design, construction, and commissioning of new technologies at the Studio, Transmitter, and Remote Facilities.
• Collaborate with team members to support operational needs and enhance system performance.
• Familiarity with Grass Valley ITX, Sony switchers and ELC, Ross Robotics, Bit Central Playout is beneficial.
