Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Indianapolis, IN seeks a senior engineer to provide technical direction on complex projects across the state. This role includes guiding project development, delivering engineering solutions, and mentoring staff within our Indiana bridge team.

You will apply advanced engineering methods, ensure design standards, and collaborate with internal teams and client counterparts to resolve issues and drive successful outcomes. PE certification is preferred for leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 9 years, or PhD with 8 years.
• PE certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent technical reviews and provide guidance on complex projects.
• Coordinate with client counterparts and teaming partners at local leadership level.
• Develop technical consistency across processes and projects.
• Support marketing responsibilities including proposal generation.
• Mentor production staff and advise project leadership.
