Job summary

HNTB in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Engineer to assist in production and modification of design calculations, reports, plans, and specifications for assigned projects. You will work with the project team to apply engineering techniques for various bridge projects across Indiana.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 2 years of experience or a Master’s with 1 year. Proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or Master’s in engineering with related experience.
• Experience applying engineering techniques to design calculations and reports.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (MicroStation/OpenRoads/AutoCAD) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Prepares or modifies portions of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Develops project quantities and assists with cost estimates.
• Assists teams with organization and administration of design files.
• Performs research, data collection, field investigations, and design tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
