Job summary

HNTB in Indiana is seeking an engineer to join our bridge team in Carmel/Indianapolis area. You will assist in producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, and plans for a range of projects across the state.

You will collaborate with the project team to apply engineering techniques and design criteria for projects of varying size. Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in engineering with 2 years of relevant experience, or a master's with 1 year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 1 year.
• Demonstrated ability to apply engineering techniques and design criteria.

Responsibilities

• Complete work within schedule and hours provided.
• Prepare or modify portions of project reports, plans, designs and calculations.
• Develop project quantities and assist with cost estimates.
• Assist engineering teams with organization and administration of design files.
• Self-sufficiently perform research, data collection, field investigations, and design work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
