Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Construction Inspector to proactively monitor roadway and bridge construction sites in the Atlanta area. The role requires detailed field inspections, reporting, and mentoring of junior staff to ensure QA and compliance with contract specs.

Responsibilities include SME support for Developer activities, coordination with IQF, and ensuring MATERIAL certification and CQAP adherence, with occasional night/weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field with 3+ years of inspection experience.
• Associate degree with 8+ years of inspection experience.
• High school diploma with 15+ years of inspection experience as OV or employee.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document deficiencies in roadway/bridge construction and communicate adjustments.
• Conduct daily site visits to ensure materials/workmanship meet specs.
• Mentor junior team members and review work for QA.
• Provide inspections and reports for bridge construction and OV activities.
• Supervise junior technicians performing OV audits and inspections.
• Serve as SME on Developer activities including remediation/review.
