Job summary

Volkert Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Certified Bridge Inspector to support our Southeast Region with assignments in Maitland, Tampa, Miami, or Sunrise, FL.

This role requires performing bridge safety inspections and preparing inspection reports, with occasional travel across Florida and beyond. You will also assist in training assistant inspectors, review findings, and maintain thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of bridge and/or ancillary inspection experience.
• Understanding of national bridge inspection methods, SNBI evaluations, and report preparation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; FDOT applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform bridge inspection topside and underwater on a range of structures.
• Develop and review inspection reports; assist with data entry.
• Train and mentor assistant inspectors as needed.
