Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a CEI Senior Bridge Inspector to lead inspection efforts on a major bridge rehabilitation project in Savannah, GA.

The role includes verifying contractor compliance, performing detailed inspections of stay-cable systems, and ensuring safety and quality in field operations. You will monitor structural movements during cable replacement, lead stay cable and bearing replacement activities, and participate in pre-construction, progress, and closeout meetings

Qualifications

• Education options show progressive years of construction experience on complex bridges.
• Experience with stay cable bridge construction or maintenance is required.
• Certifications to perform field inspections and structural assessment are required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Verify contractor compliance with project plans, specs, QC and safety.
• Lead CEI Senior Bridge Inspector role on a major bridge rehab project.
• Inspect cable-stayed bridge systems and related components.
• Monitor movements during cable replacement and inspect traffic control implementations.
• Lead inspection efforts for stay cable and bearing replacements, joints, and mods.
• Perform field measurements and maintain contract documentation.
