Job summary

PRIME AE Group is seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader to join our Bridge Inspection Group in New Albany/Indianapolis, IN or Jacksonville, FL. You will lead inspection planning, field execution, documentation, and client coordination for state, federal, and railroad projects across the continental U.S., with travel as a significant component.

The role requires a PE license, 5+ years of bridge inspection experience, and the ability to mentor junior inspectors while maintaining NBIS and agency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• 5+ years of bridge inspection experience.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead bridge inspection field operations and teams.
• Ensure NBIS, FRA, and agency-specific standards compliance.
• Coordinate scheduling with clients and agencies; document findings.
• Supervise field personnel and ensure safety and quality of inspections.
