PRIME AE Group is seeking a Bridge Inspector to join our Bridge Inspection Group in Indianapolis, IN (also New Albany, IN or Jacksonville, FL). You will perform hands-on structural safety inspections for transportation structures and help ensure compliance with FHWA, NBIS, and state standards.

The role blends fieldwork with occasional planning and reporting, requiring travel overnight and strong documentation skills.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering or related field required.
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) preferred; NBIS familiarity is a plus.
• 2+ years bridge inspection experience preferred; capable of field work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to prepare reports.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine bridge and structural safety inspections per FHWA, NBIS, and state standards.
• Assist in planning inspection schedules and coordinating with clients.
• Arrange access equipment and traffic control for safe inspections.
• Document data and prepare comprehensive inspection reports with findings.
• Travel for inspections and participate in night work or overnight travel as needed.
• Support project managers with proposals, estimates, and deadlines.
