Job summary

WSP USA seeks a senior structural engineer to lead NBIS bridge inspections and oversee local staff. You will coordinate field activities with clients and subconsultants, mentor junior staff, and ensure safety and compliance across projects.

The role requires a Civil/Structural degree, a PE license or eligibility, and 10+ years of bridge inspection experience, with NBIS/NTIS exposure. Travel is possible to support programs and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from the field and plans for project development, design, and construction.
• Apply structural and civil engineering techniques to identify improvements for infrastructure projects.
• Perform professional structural engineering work and investigations to determine conformance with rules, standards, and permits.
• Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates coordinating with owners and clients.
• Mentor staff and remain current in latest structural engineering techniques.
