Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Bridge Inspection Deputy Project Manager to support our Bridge Inspection Practice across multiple locations including Washington DC, Herdon VA, Hanover MD, and Baltimore MD. The role focuses on leading bridge evaluation projects, coordinating with clients, and delivering solutions for repair, rehabilitation, or replacement.

You will apply your education, licensure, and extensive field experience to independently evaluate structural conditions and load capacity,

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from ABET‑accredited college.
• Professional Engineering licensure in MD, DC, and VA.
• 10+ years of bridge inspection experience.
• Experience managing bridge inspection projects.
• Completion of NHI Safety Inspection course and related NHI trainings.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the structural engineering discipline.
• Review permits, design plans, and construction inspection plans for compliance.
• Lead large, complex bridge inspection projects and manage budgets and teams.
• Develop business and pipelines for bridge and infrastructure work in the assigned area.
• Mentor staff and ensure QA/QC adherence.
