Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• P.E. registration in Michigan (or ability to acquire in other states).
• 5–10 years of post-education experience in structural engineering with emphasis on bridges.
• Strong technical skills and background in bridge design.
• Experience leading design teams and mentoring staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for engineers and non-engineers.
• Proficiency in MicroStation, ANSYS, STADD, HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS.
• OSHA 40-hour health and safety training preferred.
• Master's Degree in Engineering preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead design and plan development tasks with a focus on Michigan highway structures.
• Manage project scope, design changes, budget and schedule.
• Mentor and develop staff performing similar work.
• Coordinate with project team and perform QC/QA reviews.
• Contribute to technical proposals with marketing staff.
• Represent WSP at professional society meetings and conferences.
