Job summary

A multi-disciplined planning and engineering firm located in East Lansing, MI, is looking for a Structural Project Engineer to work on complex MDOT bridge projects. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Engineer license in Michigan and will be responsible for structural analysis, design, and load rating of bridge structures. Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and strong skills in communication and collaboration. Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of bridge design, load rating, and/or inspection experience.
• Experience working with MDOT and/or municipalities is preferred.
• Ability to perform complex analysis and design.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for MDOT bridge projects.
• Prepare detailed structural calculations and design drawings.
• Conduct load rating analyses using approved methods.
• Review and interpret survey data and geotechnical reports.
• Provide technical support throughout project development.
• Participate in quality control reviews of structural calculations.
