The NY office offers a four-day work week and a collaborative environment with multidisciplinary teams. The role requires PE licensure (NY preferred) and experience with AASHTO LRFD, NYSDOT/NYCDOT standards, and software such as MicroStation/OpenRoads, STAAD, LEAP, and LARS.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering required; M.S. preferred.
• PE license required; NY PE preferred, NJ PE a plus.
• 8–12 years of bridge and structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency with NYSDOT, NYCDOT, NYSTA, PANYNJ and MTA standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage design and delivery of bridge/structural projects for transportation clients.
• Oversee construction documents, calculations, and specifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams and subconsultants.
• Mentor engineers and staff, supporting career growth.
• Provide technical oversight for multidisciplinary teams.
• Communicate with clients and address design needs.
• Support proposals and project interviews.
• Lead technical delivery within schedules and budgets.
• Perform quality assurance and technical reviews.
• Develop engineering approaches and work plans.
• Provide field support during construction and resolve issues.
