Job summary

Infra Tech Engineering, LLC seeks a Senior Structural Engineer for bridge rehabilitation and design leadership across New York. You will guide projects from concept to final design, ensuring compliance with NYSDOT Bridge Manual and AASHTO LRFD, while mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Active PE license in NY or ability to obtain soon.
• 10–15+ years in bridge design and structural engineering focusing on rehabilitation.
• Proven NYSDOT bridge design project experience including BRJR and cost estimates.
• Expertise in bridge rehabilitation, including superstructure and substructure design.
• Experience with BrR/BrD; MDX and structural analysis software like CSI or SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design, and rehabilitation strategy for highway bridges.
• Prepare BRJR, design documents, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Assess deficiencies and compare rehabilitation vs replacement options.
• Perform load rating and bridge design using BrR and BrD.
• Develop structural calculations, life-cycle cost analyses, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with NYSDOT Bridge Manual and AASHTO LRFD.
• Serve as liaison with NYSDOT Structures Division and staff.
• Provide QA/QC over all structural deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to proposals.
