Job summary

Parsons is seeking Bridge Engineers to join our Infrastructure Division in the New York metropolitan area. You will work on design and analysis for medium to large bridge projects, delivering solutions from concept through construction with a global impact.

We value experience across long-span and movable bridges, with projects like Goethals and Brooklyn Bridge rehabilitation. Candidates typically hold a Bachelor's in Engineering and 5+ years of related work; EIT/PE may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5+ years of related work experience preferred.
• EIT certification may be required and PE license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and analysis duties for structural projects including bridge rehabilitation and replacement, rail/transit structures, tolling gantries, tunnel structures, and airport facilities.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and procurement/construction materials using CAE/CAD tools.
• Produce engineering computations, quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and geometric designs.
• Utilize design software/CAE/CAD to implement project designs.
• Review supplier submittals and assist in quantity calculations for bid analyses.
• Develop engineering products meeting customer quality requirements under supervision.
• For design/build projects, develop construction-related plans and perform fieldwork as needed.
• Provide support for other engineering activities as required.
