Parsons is hiring a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our North Carolina team and support a rapidly expanding portfolio of major projects.

We’re seeking 8+ years in bridge engineering, a BS in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis, and ideally an MS and PE licensure. The role emphasizes lead design work, collaboration with CAD Drafters, and delivering high‑quality, compliant structures.

Qualifications

• 8 years or more of related work experience with bridge engineering design.
• BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis is required.
• MS in Structural Engineering is desirable.
• PE licensure is highly preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office and Microstation or AutoCAD.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry standard and specialty bridge design and analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Perform conventional and moderately complex bridge engineering tasks efficiently and accurately.
• May lead a project or team; act as lead engineer for a discipline on small to intermediate projects.
• Provide input and technical guidance to CAD Designers, Designers, and junior engineers.
• Commit to quality and continuous improvement through innovation and better results.
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients and stakeholders.
