Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Bridge Engineer in Denver, CO to perform structural design and analysis for steel and concrete bridges, walls, and culverts. You will develop plans with CADD teams, perform calculations for super/substructure components, and coordinate with clients to advance project progress.

Requirements include a Civil/Structural engineering degree, a PE license, and 5+ years in bridge design. Proficiency with Midas Civil, CSi Bridge, SAP2000, and related tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in structural/bridge engineering design.
• Familiarity with CDOT standards and procedures.
• Experience with bridge design, load rating, and inspection of various structure types.
• Design experience using AASHTO LRFD, AISC, ACI (plus AREMA).
• Proficiency in structural software (3D modeling/analysis) and CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering design and analysis for steel and concrete bridges, walls, culverts, and sign structures under guidance of senior engineers.
• Develop plans, specifications, and estimates with CADD teams for bridge designs.
• Perform engineering calculations for superstructure and substructure components (girders, piers, abutments, walls, foundations).
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to support project progress and resolve inquiries.
• Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction support.
• Collaborate with bridge teams across Stanley Consultants locations for knowledge sharing.
