Provident Bank in Dumont, NJ seeks an AVP, Assistant Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations and lead a team toward service excellence. You will coach staff, manage teller and customer escalations, and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards while developing new relationships.

With branch manager support, you’ll drive sales goals, schedule staff, participate in training, and maintain a customer-centric culture across hours and locations in the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years related experience and/or training in branch operations.
• Strong leadership to build a collaborative team.
• Professional image and clear communication with colleagues and customers.
• Proficiency with computers, MS Office Suite, and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of digital tools to coach staff and meet evolving business needs.
• Awareness of local market trends and ability to respond quickly.
• Ability to discuss and promote bank products based on customer needs.
