Qualifications

• Ability to synthesize data sources, exercise sound judgment, and advise on complex conditions.
• Strong communication and partnership-building across teams.
• MBA, CPA or related certification preferred.
• Willingness to visit Bay Area project sites.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and Microsoft 365; learn ERP/AI tools.
• Travel to Kansas City for meetings as needed.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Local to Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch budgeting, forecasts, and financial planning.
• Analyze financial and operational data for trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Translate insights into short- and long-term performance perspectives for leadership.
• Partner with project managers on kickoff, forecasting, and risk reviews; advise on contracts and cash-flow.
• Recommend growth, capital, staffing, and resource allocation; drive action.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee branch cash flow, assets, and project cost tracking.
• Collaborate with Operations, Estimating, Admin, and corporate teams.
