Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 8–15 years of progressive finance, accounting, construction or related business experience.
• Advanced knowledge of construction finance, job costing, revenue recognition, forecasting, cash-flow management, project risk and internal controls.
• MBA, CPA or other relevant certification preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to visit Bay Area project sites and travel to corporate offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of the branch’s annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and overall financial planning.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities informing strategic priorities.
• Translate insights into short- and long-term performance implications for leadership decisions.
• Partner with project managers and operations on forecasting and risk reviews; advise on contracts and cash flow.
• Recommend growth, capital, staffing, and resource allocation with accountability for actions.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure accurate reporting of financial statements and subledgers.
• Oversee day-to-day branch financial operations and cash flow management.
• Ensure proper cost tracking for projects including labor, materials and other costs.
