Job summary

Peraton seeks a Business Process Engineer to analyze, design, and optimize processes supporting the DHA Solution Delivery Division. The role partners across programs to identify improvements, promote best practices, and reduce integration risk while standardizing systems engineering processes.

Responsibilities include coordinating requirements, refining and validating artifacts, and maintaining traceability from needs to software specs.

Qualifications

Minimum 12 years with BS/BA; or 16 years of experience with a high school diploma.
DoD security clearance (ADP II Public Trust) or the ability to obtain one.
Strong knowledge of business process engineering methodologies and tools.
Proficiency in process mapping and modeling software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Travel as needed to support conferences and/or as requested by Government client.
Ability to Obtain ITIL4 and PMP certification.
Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

Coordinate activities to assess program management planning, execution, and reporting processes for projects including requirements, software, sustainment, and advanced technology initiatives.
Analyze, organize, validate, decompose and maintain Government provided requirements documentation to support decision-making and align with program goals.
Review requirements documentation and decompose capabilities into detailed requirements and software specs.
Conduct requirements refinement preserving traceability between needs, requirements, rules, epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Identify and resolve duplicate, conflicting, incomplete or ambiguous requirements and perform impact analysis of changes.
Assist in planning and tracking requirements engineering activities through an integrated project schedule.
Provide guidance and coordinate with requirements team to complete epics and business rules.
Review, refine, maintain and update requirements artifacts per Government direction.
Facilitate stakeholder working sessions, requirements workshops and technical reviews with senior leaders.
Develop new processes ensuring they are reliable, repeatable, and sustainable.
Document and improve existing processes and create Standard Operating Procedures for each project type.
Develop process maps, flowcharts, and documentation to support process improvements.
Facilitate executive meetings and special projects with Government and PEO MS/CIO J-6 Business Operations regarding the product line.
Own/manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and track ticket submissions and integration into the IMS.
Proactively monitor project risks to keep the project on schedule.
Provide stakeholder communications that are clear and factual for meetings and CDRL requirements.
Prepare monitoring reports including Interim Progress Reports, Quad Charts, and Quarterly updates.
Provide SME support to SDD Requirements Development and Requirements Management as needed.
Utilize SDD tools and ensure compliance with Federal, DoD and SDD policies and standards.
Provide knowledge and execution of Configuration Management functions and engage stakeholders for delivery and customer satisfaction.
