Job summary

TK Solutions in Asheville, North Carolina, seeks a Senior Bookkeeper to provide stable leadership within the client delivery team, blending hands‑on accounting with operations ownership and staff mentorship.

You will manage multiple client workflows using Xero and QuickBooks Online, perform reconciliations and monthly closes with accuracy, and partner with the Controller to uphold US GAAP while guiding junior Bookkeepers through day‑to‑day work.

Qualifications

5–7 years of US GAAP and accrual-based accounting.
Experience with reconciliations, financial reviews, and monthly close.
Experience managing accounting workflows across multiple clients.
Proficiency with Xero and/or QuickBooks Online.
QBO ProAdvisor or Xero Certification a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

Manage accounting processes across multiple client engagements using Xero and QuickBooks Online.
Perform reconciliations, financial reviews, and monthly close activities with strong attention to accuracy and timing.
Maintain organized and accurate financial records, ensuring data integrity across systems.
Support continuity in client financial operations during transitions, growth phases, or capacity shifts.
Support ad hoc reporting and financial analysis as needed.
