Job summary

Your Startup Operations LLC is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to manage bookkeeping for multiple US-based service businesses. This hands-on role requires expertise in QuickBooks Online, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage up to 20 client accounts with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience.
• Strong QuickBooks Online experience is required.
• Experience managing books for US-based businesses.
• Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Experience at bookkeeping/accounting firms or multi-client environments preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written English and professional communication with US clients.
• Ability to work independently and follow established processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple US-based service businesses.
• Categorize transactions and maintain general ledgers in QuickBooks Online.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Support invoicing, billing, and payment tracking.
• Record and support payroll-related transactions and reconciliations.
• Review books for discrepancies and investigate issues.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Complete monthly bookkeeping tasks on schedule.
• Manage multiple client accounts while keeping deadlines and priorities organized.
• Communicate with clients by email regarding bookkeeping questions and outstanding information.
• Respond to client and internal emails within the same business day.
• Follow established bookkeeping workflows and document completed work in ClickUp.
• Collaborate with the team during client onboarding and ongoing account management.
