Job summary

Complete Playground is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to manage financial records for a busy Manhattan facility. You will handle daily sales, memberships, payroll, and vendor payments while ensuring accuracy across multiple revenue streams.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in bookkeeping, strong QuickBooks Online and Excel skills, and familiarity with Clover/Square POS and payroll platforms like Gusto or ADP. You will report to the General Manager and collaborate with ownership.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting in a high-volume retail, gym, or hospitality setting.
Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Excel.
Familiarity with POS systems (Clover or Square) and payroll platforms (Gusto or ADP).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Ability to clearly communicate financial data to non-financial team members.

Responsibilities

Maintain ledgers including accounts receivable/payable for multiple revenue streams.
Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly staff, entertainers, and management in NYC.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements; ensure data integrity.
Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
Track revenue by category (party, walk-in, cafe, retail) for management reviews.
Assist with sales tax filings and year-end audits.
