Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to serve medical professionals with clinical product knowledge and to navigate complex payer environments. You will implement marketing strategy, promote Amgen medicines, and act as the primary contact in your territory, reporting to the District Manager.

Responsibilities include delivering product benefits, driving sales through programs, and developing strategic relationships to ensure access and contract management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate degree with 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma with 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior qualifications require 3 years of sales and/or clinical healthcare experience, or 6 years with an Associate degree, or 8 years with a high school diploma.
• Preferred: experience in pharma/biotech/diagnostics or related sales, with strong relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide current knowledge of Amgen's products to clinicians and support payer navigation.
• Deliver branded sales messages and programs to achieve territory sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop and manage accounts, tailor discussions to customer needs, and ensure product access.
• Offer feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and learn continually.
• Maintain passion for products and uphold Amgen values throughout the sales cycle.
