Job summary

Travelers is seeking a seasoned Claim Executive to lead advanced Bond/Insurance claims. You will conduct in-depth investigations, assess coverage, and coordinate with underwriting, vendors and outside counsel to drive settlements and outcomes.

You will independently prepare management reports reflecting loss development and exposure, while maintaining thorough documentation and ongoing education requirements for license compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; eight years of claim handling experience.
• Expert knowledge of legal terminology and high-level legal research skills.
• Advanced grammar and writing skills; ability to develop clear claim documentation.

Responsibilities

• Handle and resolve advanced to highest severity claims with minimal supervision.
• Review policies, contracts and legal documents to confirm coverage and obligations.
• Assess claim exposures and develop strategies for resolution and mitigation.
• Ensure compliance with BSI processes, procedures and best practices.
