Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Claim Executive to manage complex Bond and Specialty Insurance (BSI) claims. You will conduct in-depth investigations, assess liabilities, and negotiate settlements while ensuring compliance with processes and confidentiality.

You will mentor junior staff and interact with internal teams and outside counsel throughout the lifecycle of high-severity claims. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree, extensive claim handling experience, solid legal terminology skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 8+ years of claim handling experience preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of legal terminology and ability to lead claims processes.
• Strong writing, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in legal research tools and MS Office suite.

• Handle and resolve advanced to highest severity claims with minimal supervision.
• Independently review policies, contracts, and documents to confirm coverage.
• Assess exposures and develop effective strategies for resolution.
