Job summary
AIR CONDITIONING INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS in San Antonio, TX seeks an experienced technician to maintain and repair controls on large commercial boiler systems including gas-fired and electric-fired boilers. You will troubleshoot control systems, conduct preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and ensure safety and EPA compliance.
The role requires 5+ years of boiler service experience, a high school diploma, and familiarity with Siemens/Honeywell/Fireye/Autoflame controls, with strong diagnostic
Qualifications
- 5+ years of service experience in repair, maintenance and operation of large commercial boilers and steam generation systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent education credit.
- Experience with Siemens, Honeywell, Fireye, Autoflame, and similar controls.
- Advanced combustion controls, including VFDs and Low NOx combustion.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and layouts.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair boiler systems and associated mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot control systems, electrical circuitry, gas and fuel lines, and related equipment.
- Use combustion analyzers and test equipment to analyze systems.
- Perform calibrations of gauges, transmitters, meters, and drive units.
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules and document work.
- Monitor safety compliance and EPA regulations.
- Assist with estimating time and material costs and with service sales.
