Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Management System Technician to oversee, maintain, and optimize the site’s BMS across multiple platforms, with focus on Honeywell EBI/TEC and cross-training on Siemens Apogee/Desigo.

You will lead daily operations and ensure energy-efficient performance in a critical environment. The role requires 7+ years of DDC/BMS experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience with Direct Digital Control (DDC) Building Management Systems.
• Experience in installation, programming, commissioning, maintenance, and project oversight.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical/BMS drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation, maintenance, and optimization of the building’s BMS systems.
• Oversee preventative maintenance on BMS controllers, devices, networks, and hardware.
• Troubleshoot HVAC controls, BMS performance, and network communications.
• Coordinate BMS-related work with internal teams and external vendors.
• Manage small BMS projects including upgrades and retrofits.
