Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking a Senior BMS Model-Based Design (MBD) Engineer with expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and Model-Based Development (MBD) for EV applications. Develop and validate BMS control algorithms and models.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, design reviews, and production-ready embedded code generation using MBD, with emphasis on SOC/SOH/SOP, cell balancing, and thermal management.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Model-Based Development (MBD) or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB & Simulink.
Experience in Battery Management Systems (BMS) and battery control algorithms.
Knowledge of battery functions including SOC, SOH, SOP, cell balancing, charging, thermal management, and battery protection.
Experience with Embedded C, Auto Coding, and code generation.
Familiarity with CAN, UDS, Vector CANoe/CANalyser, and HIL testing.
Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, and automotive software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance BMS control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink.
Design and validate models for battery management functions.
Perform model verification, validation, and debugging.
Collaborate with software, controls, and systems engineering teams.
Support HIL/SIL/MIL testing and model integration activities.
Generate production-ready embedded code using Model-Based Design.
Participate in requirement analysis, design reviews, and technical documentation.
