Job summary

Our Next Energy is seeking an experienced engineer to develop BMS controls and diagnostic algorithms using Model-Based Development. You will translate designs into embedded software and verify them in simulation environments, while driving testing on benches and cyclers and collaborating with stakeholders to deploy BMS strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience applying quality-driven embedded controls in automotive production.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast-paced change.

Responsibilities

• Develop BMS controls and diagnostic algorithms using Model-Based Development to translate into embedded software.
• Apply simulation-based testing to verify algorithms for behavior, performance, safety, and security.
• Lead testing on software benches and battery cyclers using CAN and embedded debugging tools.
• Capture system requirements, model behavior, and support functional safety analyses.
• Maintain lifecycle documentation to ensure ASPICE maturity and ISO26262 compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deploy ONE BMS strategies.
• Participate in customer engagements and agile DevOps team delivery.
