Job summary

Innovatus Technology Consulting in San Diego, CA seeks a Senior/Principal BMC Remedy ITSM Subject Matter Expert and Platform Architect to lead enterprise Remedy environments across Development, QA, and Production. You will design, configure, upgrade, and integrate Remedy modules while translating complex federal requirements into ITIL-aligned solutions.

The role requires 15+ years in Remedy/ITSM with DoD experience, strong CMDB knowledge, and ability to obtain/maintain required clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
15+ years hands-on BMC Remedy / ARS / ITSM suite consulting, including architecture, customization, upgrades, and multi-environment administration.
Deep working knowledge of CMDB (Atrium), SRM, SLM/SLA, RKM, Mid-Tier, Atrium Integrator, custom workflow development, and Smart Reporting.
Proven experience integrating Remedy via REST, SOAP, LDAP/Active Directory, and common enterprise systems.
Experience operating in federal or DoD environments and aligning Asset Lifecycle / ITSM controls with security and ITIL requirements.
BMC Certified Professional (or equivalent demonstrated mastery) preferred.
Ability to obtain or maintain required clearance (TS/SCI or Public Trust).

Responsibilities

Own architecture, configuration, and support for Remedy ARS and the ITSM suite across environments.
Administer Dev, QA, and Production servers; manage environment setup, promotion paths, and health.
Plan and execute major platform upgrades across lifecycle stages.
Tune performance and upgrade architecture for large federal deployments.
Configure and import Foundation data, Process data and CMDB updates.
Develop and maintain service requests in SRM for IT and business users.
Customize modules by designing new workflow objects and forms.
Design Asset Lifecycle solutions aligned with security and ITIL practices.
Configure and schedule Smart Reports for stakeholders.
Monitor ITSM performance against SLAs and drive timely delivery.
Integrate Remedy with enterprise platforms and REST/SOAP interfaces.
Mentor peers and lead technical capability for Remedy.
