Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Senior Engineer, Blockchain Platforms in Austin with hybrid on-site work. You will build and integrate Layer-1 blockchain infrastructure, wallet services, and custody-related workflows, collaborating with Crypto Custody and Security Engineering teams to ensure secure, observable systems.

Responsibilities include designing core services, integrating with blockchains, and advancing wallet and transaction pipelines while maintaining robust operational tooling

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building or integrating blockchain or distributed ledger systems.
• Strong understanding of Layer-1 blockchain protocols and transaction lifecycles.
• Experience building backend services, APIs, and infrastructure components.
• Proficiency in Go, Java, Rust, Python, or similar.
• Ability to work effectively across custody, security, and platform teams.

Responsibilities

• Integrate client systems with existing Layer-1 blockchains (e.g., Ethereum-based or other enterprise-relevant L1s).
• Evaluate and contribute to building or extending Layer-1 capabilities for custody, scalability, or resiliency needs.
• Understand chain-level mechanics such as transaction lifecycle, finality, forks, reorgs, and event propagation.
• Ensure blockchain integrations are reliable under stress and production loads.
• Design and build core blockchain infrastructure services: indexers, event processors, chain data services.
• Develop wallet architecture and workflows including signing and submission pipelines.
• Support custody-related blockchain workflows with on-chain execution, monitoring, and reconciliation.
